Terms of Service

What this service does

Jawaf reads comments and messages sent to a connected business page, suggests replies, and — where the business has enabled it — sends those replies on the business's behalf. Messages it is not confident about are passed to a human instead of answered.

The business is responsible for its replies

A business connecting its page remains responsible for everything sent from it, whether written by a person or suggested by this service. Businesses are expected to review suggested replies before enabling automatic sending.

What we do not do

Jawaf does not quote prices, stock levels or policies that the business has not entered itself, does not promise refunds or delivery dates, and does not reply to complaints. Those are routed to a person.

Acceptable use

Businesses may not use this service to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate another business, or in any way that breaches Meta's Platform Terms or the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

Availability

This service is provided as is. It depends on Meta's APIs and on third-party model providers, and may be interrupted when they are.

Ending it

A business can disconnect its page at any time, which stops all processing. Data is deleted on request as described in the Privacy Policy.
